RTÉ 2FM and Dancing with the Stars presenter Doireann Garrihy has announced she is expecting her first child with her husband Mark Mehigan.
Taking to Instagram, the parents-to-be shared their scan photos alongside a sweet note which read: "We are beside ourselves with joy. Here's to the greatest chapter yet."
The broadcaster and comedian tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in Co Kildare in December.
The happy couple exchanged vows at The K Club in Straffan surrounded by their close friends and family, including Garrihy's former 2FM co-hosts Donncha O'Callaghan and Carl Mullan.
Alongside a black and white image from their special day on Instagram, Garrihy, penned: "Just Married".
In May last year, Garrihy announced she was leaving 2FM after five years, saying she wanted to "pursue the projects I've been dreaming about".
In January, it was announced that Garrihy was set to return to 2FM to helm the drivetime slot, while new presenters joined the weekend and breakfast lineup.
Sharing her excitement about her new show with her Instagram followers, Garrihy said: "Radio is where my heart is, and absence has only made the heart grow fonder.
"It is an absolute dream come true to have my very own show. I cannot wait to put my own stamp on it, to rise at a reasonable hour and to be back with you, the listeners."
