The annual BET Awards lit up the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Celebrating "the best, brightest and most beautiful aspects of the Black experience", the annual awards ceremony showcases the best musicians of the year and features thrilling performances on the night.
Hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, this year's awards was star studded with artists like Doechii, Keke Palmer, Ciara, Kerry Washington, Mya, and more.
Kendrick Lamar was the night's top winner, taking home five prizes from 10 nominations, thanks to the success of his album GNX. Meanwhile, Doechii took home 'Best Female Hip Hop Artist' and Blue Ivy Carter was awarded the 'Young Stars Award'.
Wicked actress Cynthia Erivo won 'Best Actress', while Denzel Washington took 'Best Actor', and Luther: Never Too Much won 'Best Movie'.
