There's an Oasis night on BBC Two, a hurling double bill, comedian Rhod Gilbert performs The Book of John, Piece By Piece tells the story of Pharrell Williams in Lego animation, and there’s the final episode of The Last Anniversary . . .
Pick of the Day
Oasis at the BBC, 8.35pm, BBC Two
With Oasis's long-awaited reunion and the band's sell-out run of concerts finally just around the corner, this programme dives into the BBC's music archives for a celebration of the band.
It also kicks off a night of programming around the band that helped to musically define the 1990s.

Featuring the early mission statements that were Rock 'n' Roll Star, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Wonderwall, Slide Away and Champagne Supernova, it's a compilation that helps explain the Oasis phenomenon.
It also demonstrates why and how Liam, Noel and co became one of Britain's biggest bands.
Oasis: Right Here, Right Now follows at 10.20pm.
It’s a documentary, originally broadcast in 1997, following the band as they discussed their career to date, revisited their old neighbourhood in Manchester and performed songs from their album Be Here Now.
Then at 11pm there’s Later Presents Oasis, where Jools Holland introduces a studio concert by the Gallagher brothers, first shown in April 2000.
Songs performed include the number one Go Let It Out, as well as earlier hits such as Wonderwall, Some Might Say and Supersonic.
New or Returning Shows
Rhod Gilbert: The Book of John, 10.25pm, Channel 4
Here’s a stand-up performance by the comedian filmed live at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, which was his first live show in six years.
Raw, personal and brutally honest like never before, Rhod Gilbert (above) takes the audience on a no-nonsense journey into finding humour when you've hit rock bottom - and the unexpected encounter that leads you to an even lower place.
In the Arena: Serena Williams, 11.10pm, BBC One
Here’s an eight-part series from ESPN about tennis star Serena Williams.
After 27 years in professional tennis, she shares a personal account of the most meaningful moments of her remarkable career.
Having overcome the odds and played in the shadow of her older sister, Venus, 17-year-old Serena wins her first Grand Slam tournament at the 1999 US Open.
Episode two follows at 11.55pm. As Serena struggles to follow up her first Grand Slam triumph, Venus wins four major titles in two years.
Serena eventually finds her groove, but it means going head to head against the top player in the world, her sister, and only one can be the winner.

The film starts with Pharrell Williams talking to documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville. Pharrell explains that he wants to tell his story in Lego form, as his view of the world is like that of a Lego set, which is building something from another pre-existing material.
