Kelsey Parker has announced the death of her baby son, who was "born sleeping".
The podcast host and widow of The Wanter singer Tom Parker shared the news in a post on Instagram. The baby, named Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, was her first child with partner Will Lindsay.
In the caption, Parker wrote: "Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved," alongside a poem beginning: "For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved."
Parker revealed she was expecting her third child in January. She is already mother to two children, Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, from her marriage to Tom Parker, who died in 2022 following a diagnosis of an inoperable brain tumour.
In a follow-up Instagram story, she thanked people in advance for their support and asked for privacy. "Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heart-felt well wishes, I want to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share.
"But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news.
"I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space."
Since her husband's death, Parker has continued to speak publicly about grief, parenting and moving forward. She has also raised funds for brain tumour research through charity events held in his memory.
She c-hosts the podcast Mum's the Word! with Georgia Jones where they discuss family life and parenting with celebrity guests.
