A versatile forward, Chessum recovered from injury halfway through the Six Nations as England finished strongly.
After a season with Nottingham, Chessum moved to Leicester in 2020 and has made over 60 appearances for the Tigers.
The Lincolnshire man made his international debut under Eddie Jones in the 2022 Six Nations against Italy and played in every game of the 2023 World Cup.
