A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with an attack on the Belfast Islamic Centre.
He has been charged with a number of offences including attempted arson with intent to endanger life, attempt to cause an explosion, making explosives with intent to endanger life and criminal damage.
The man is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
The centre was attacked at around 10pm on Friday night.
A man was prevented from entering the building several times because security staff were suspicious about his behaviour.
He used a brick to smash a window before hurling some form of incendiary device inside.
The building was evacuated and the area cordoned off until British army bomb disposal officers examined the item and removed it.
It was later declared a viable device.
