Television: Meeting Klopp was only the beginning for Daire

It all started with a life-changing trip to meet Liverpool legend Jürgen Klopp for Daire Gorman (13). The video went viral and he shot to fame. But, that was only the beginning for this amazing young Monaghan man.

Filmed over six months, What Daire Did Next, takes us into his extraordinary world as he says goodbye to Primary School, competes in an international Powerchair Football tournament in Paris, gets fitted with a state-of-the-art robotic arm, undergoes challenging surgery and becomes a teenager.

All this while coming to terms with unexpected fame and recognition after his meeting with Klopp and the Liverpool team, and the news that the only manager he has known was stepping down. You can get a sneak peek up top where Daire and his family head to Anfield for Klopp's last game in charge.

And Daire makes the move from being a football fan to a player as he joins Powerchair Football team Belfast Trailblazers. They have qualified for an international tournament in France and Daire travels with the squad. We see him training in Belfast and competing in Paris where he scores his first international club goal - press play in the video above to see it!

But, while there are massive highs, Daire's life is not without challenges. He is one of seven people in the world with Crommelin Syndrome, an extremely rare condition which affects the growth of his upper limbs and the femur bones in both legs. Daire is a full-time wheelchair user and has spent much of his life undergoing painful surgeries and medical procedures.
