On Fomóire, the teens make many new friends who will later become allies to help them in the war. When the time comes, the beings on Fomóire must join forces in the great battle against the Blight and stop them from draining the universe of all its natural resources.

ROO
He is a hot-tempered, fiery rock boy from Éire. He was born on a rocky landscape that overlooks a free spirited wild blue ocean known as The Burren. Roo is sporty, cool, highly competitive and quick to action which potentially puts him at odds with his slower moving and more thoughtful comrades. Roo has had a popular social life before the crash on Fomóire and wouldn't ever dream of hanging our with Umba or Metric back home.
Roo's mother is a well-known Éireian warrior. She began training Roo at a very young age after the death of his father and has instilled in him the notion that fighting can get you through anything. But, he might need to realise that there needs to be better ways to deal with your emotions...

UMBA
She is a ball of earth and soil with roots for arms and legs, born from the fertile soil of a region known as Offaly on planet Éire and she has a close bond with the land. Umba is naturally grounded; thoughtful, wise, and emotionally intelligent. She can use her roots to find out information about objects, beings, and the surrounding area.
Unlike her friends, she's slow to move and speak because she carefully assesses every situation before reacting. This leads her to become the one they look up to. Umba comes from a family of philosophers and psychologists - thinkers. She is most content when everything is calm or when she's trying to understand others' behaviour. But once the tables get turned and it's her that comes under the spotlight, she gets shaky.

METRIC
Born in a natural gas reservoir known as Kinsale on planet Éire. He is a cloud of floating gas who thinks in mathematical equations. Metric is very smart and acts as the group's information storage bank, making him a little like a living calculator or Wikipedia.
He is the brains, but he's nervous, fearful, and socially awkward. Metric comes from a family of readers, engineers and problem solvers. He rarely leaves home and usually has an excuse or sick note from his parents as to why he's not in school. So being on Fomóire is the worst place he could have ended up.

JEANNIE
She is a glowing crystal prism with no features other than her voice. She is the trio's enigmatic guide through Fomóire. Having the power to grant one wish, she gives the teens the ability to transform into Holt. She emits bright light, but she must regularly replenish from the planet’s core.
Born with no known parents, Jeannie has existed for hundreds of years with most of the time spent by herself, which makes her a little socially awkward at times. Things brighten up for her when she meets the teens - as having good friends was always something that she deeply wanted.
HOLT
Meet the super-being who is the combined sum of Roos, Umba and Metric along with the strength of Planet Éire and the knowledge of their ancestors. It is made from rock, soil, root and gas and never speaks.
Holt is marked with the symbol of planet Éire on its chest – the Shamrock, which represents life, unity and strength (three becoming one). It can use his visor to shoot lasers and its arms and legs can extend as its inner roots grow and contract.
Holt can turn up the temperature on the rock parts of its body therefore making it difficult to hold, especially for its organic foes. Its super brain can help it adapt to almost any environment and understand the deepest fears of its enemies.

THE BLIGHT
The Blight are an ancient race that live on Planet Rot and as the name suggests from Irish history, the Blight are destroyers of crops and life. They are swamp-dwelling, reptilian creatures who have crocodile-shaped heads and fearsome, large jaws.
Confident in their strength and intelligence, the Blight are known to warn off intruders to their territory with agonizing sonic bellows, all so they can hide their secrets. Like Éire, Rot is one of the oldest planets in the universe and the strongest. The Blight once held power over the universe many cycles ago. It took many to stand together against them to end their reign.
Because Rot is now drained of its natural life (from their own ill treatment), the Blight now seek to exploit other planets of their natural resource for themselves and rid of any life that might get in their way...

Planet Fomóire exists at the bottom of the universe and was originally forged out of blown-up particles of many other planets after a supernova. It has now become a prisoner dumping planet for many worlds. With its unstable temperament, only the strongest prisoners survived. Some are now the last of their kind after the great electric pulse.
Planet Éire is mostly made up of blue ocean with one large green land mass at its centre, which is in the shape of a Shamrock - the symbol of Éire - known to many in the universe as a mark that represents life, unity and strength.
