Nero’s Class

Nero’s Class is a surreal sitcom, a hilarious audio odyssey and a stereophonic comic-book-for-the-ears. It tells the story of Professor Nero (Hugh Cooney), a strait-laced teacher from The Mainland, who is sent to the mythical island of Mrunglody to teach three children who are every bit as unorthodox as their homeland.

For Nero, it’s testing enough that Mrunglody is filled with eccentric locals and never-ending distractions...so it certainly doesn’t help matters that their classroom/ treehouse also has a habit of whisking them off on strange overseas field trips.

After a whirlwind first week on the job (Series One), Professor Nero is becoming more acclimatised to his new environment...or so he thinks. This one is for kids from 7 to 70 and beyond!

Cereal – Park Life

Cereal is a 'not true' crime podcast for the whole family. The first season brought us behind the scenes on a reality TV show, The Novice. The competition had kids at its centre, all of whom had things to hide. Leading the charge, were Katie and Aoife with their so-delicious-they-couldn’t-be-healthy healthy cereal bar 'Crunch Ems', which gave us our title.

In this second season, Aoife and Katie have hit the road to uncover a brand-new mystery. The pals are packed off to the midlands for a small-town summer with Aoife’s Nanna in Troid Mor. It turns out village life is no walk in the park when a whiff of scandal turns into a whole pile of doggie doodoo. Thankfully, Aoife brought her podcasting gear.

Join a host of fast and furious characters, old and new (some with dodgy fake beards), as the girls try to find the answers without losing their friendship. For kids 7+

Storytime Takeover

Storytime Takeover is a show for children aged 3 and up which reimagines the process of telling Fairy Tales by placing them in the driving seat, even if that’s the last thing the storyteller wants.

Mr Morgan just wants to read a story, plain and simple. Is that too much to ask? Seems like it! But no matter where he goes, somehow, 7-year-old Sam and Izzy are one step ahead, tracking him down and turning Storytime Corner into their own Storytime Takeover! For kids 3+

Stop the Bus

It's always fun to play a game. Stop the Bus pulls in with driver Clara Murray, inviting children to hop on board, spin the wheel and choose a letter at random.

Every letter offers a window into people, places and things that can start conversations in the classroom beyond the podcast, as well as allowing children from Senior Infants up to hear the letters come to life. For kids 3+

The Neighbourhood

No one knows their neighbourhood better than the animals and children. This neighbourhood is a leafy suburb with redbrick houses and gardens of every sort, but it is also a place without boundaries. As narrator, Golden Globe and Oscar-nominated actor Ciarán Hinds gives us stories about kindness and bravery children find in themselves.

Belonging is never simply about being like others. 'We've all grown up and moved away,' the narrator tells us. 'Perhaps you live there now.' Written by the playwright Philip Davison. For kids 4+
