Le Boom 'totally blown away' by the grá for Hot Gael Summer

Irish music has been having more than a moment in recent years. Kneecap, CMAT and Fontaines DC have taken international stages by storm this summer, to name but a few. Music as Gaeilge is also enjoying some well deserved grá too as electronica pop kings, Le Boom realised when they dropped a tune adding some Gaeilge to the mix.

The Navan based brothers remixed disco lines / tinashe and added their own lyrics in Irish and put it on Tiktok, not expecting the 'crazy response' it has received since. The song has proved to be a huge hit online and the group said they have never had a response like it. They have been inundated with requests to release it as a single, they added.

Leanann Le Boom ceoltóirí agus amhránaithe eile atá ag iarraidh an Ghaeilge a shníomh isteach ina gcuid ceoil féin mar thréith sainiúil de cheol na hÉireann.

If you'd like to see Le Boom live and take part in what they're calling a Hot Gael Summer, you can see them at Féile na Gealaí, this weekend in Rath Chairn, in the Meath Gaeltacht.

Beidh Le Boom le feiceáil ag Féile na Gealaí an deireadh seachtaine seo in Rath Chairn i gContae na Mí
